# Get started

## 1. Sign in

Open [/login](https://usedocs.app/login) and use Google, GitHub, or a magic link. usedocs.app does not use passwords and does not support SAML. See [sign in](https://help.usedocs.app/sign-in).

## 2. Bring your docs

Import from your docs site URL, Zendesk Guide, Intercom, GitBook, Notion, or an OpenAPI file, or start fresh in the editor. Articles arrive as drafts with redirects from old paths. The assistant answers only from your help center; it does not browse the open web for your product.

## 3. Connect GitHub

Install the usedocs GitHub App on your product repository. The first drift report lists the articles that no longer match the code, each with a proposed fix. From then on, merged pull requests and releases propose edits. See [edits from your code](https://help.usedocs.app/edits-from-code).

## 4. Turn on the assistant

Ask AI is on every help center page, and one script tag adds the widget to your app or site. Test the questions support already hears, open the sources, and force a miss to confirm it refuses. See [citations and gaps](https://help.usedocs.app/citations-and-gaps).

## 5. Review one queue

Drafts holds everything waiting for you: edits from code, drafts from unanswered questions, and translations sent for review. Approve, adjust, or dismiss. Nothing goes live without approval.

## 6. Choose a plan before the trial ends
